Subsequently, Mehul practised in the Oral and Maxillofacial department at the Beds, Herts, and Bucks OMFS Network for 2 years and then at the London North West Hospitals Maxillofacial Department during his medical degree, enhancing his skills in Oral Surgery. Mehul is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) and continues to expand his knowledge through further education.
Mehul is constantly looking to improve himself, especially within his fields of particular interest: minor oral surgery, restorative procedures, and cosmetic dentistry. He is committed to lifelong learning to provide patients with modern dental techniques and procedures.
Mehul recently completed training to administer Invisalign treatment and advanced tooth whitening and plans to begin courses in dental implantology, conscious sedation, aesthetic composite bonding, bespoke smile design, facial aesthetics and rejuvenation, and laser surgery in the near future.
Employing an empathetic approach to work and life, Mehul aims to ease patients’ minds before any treatment and provide a holistic and patient-centred approach to dental care. Mehul has taken his training and talents to rural Uganda to perform much-needed dental procedures and mentor medical students, while in the country.
Mehul values quality time with his family foremost and enjoys baking, photography, science fiction movies, singing and playing the guitar, as well as skiing in his free time.
